We are the only non-profit society that joins together companies and people linked to the surface treatment industry in Argentina.
SADAM ‘s objectives are to disseminate and extend knowledge and practices relating to the electroplating industry and surface finish of metals and plastics , encourage mutual assistance among partners and provide common and permanent defense of the legitimate interests of the sector.
It is constituted of those phisical or legal persons , professionals, technicians or whose activities are related to this industry.
Founded in 1963, the Association has developed its own headquarters where part of its activities , including a library of specific topics. SADAM provides the associated basic and advanced courses in both electroplating and care of the environment, and compliance with legal standards.
Sponsors conferences and presentations related to the objectives of the Association. It provides , through its advisers , support environmental and legal issues.
It has a permanent link with colleagues in other countries associations with which knowledge is exchanged and proposals . Especially important is the relationship with the ABTS Brazil, with which he has a permanent cooperation agreement , enjoying the associated, in opportunity to travel to the neighbor country, the benefits of a partner of the other entity .
Furthermore, SADAM is the ideal environment in which those linked to this industry to share knowledge and meet industry issues .
Through the participation of the Association in ADIMRA (Argentinean Asociation of Metallurgical Industry) and UIA (Union of Argentine Industries) we make known in the business field the concerns and needs of partners. In meetings with various (national, provincial and local ) public sector institutions, the problems of the sector are transmitted in search of satisfactory agreements.
